Spring is in the air, everywhere I look around..is someone with hay fever. Honestly, there are just too many people with hay fever & I simply can’t deal with all the sneezing everywhere, everyday, every second. Feels good to let that out LOL Back to this post!

After all my life of shunning denim on denim I’ve finally felt comfortable enough to wear it out on a weekly basis. The double denim trend is such a daring look & definitely not an easy one to pull off. So is it better to stick with one shade or mix washes? I suppose one shade works well with other muted colours, but we’re talking double denim here! I’m no fashion expert, but it makes sense to not go head to toe in just one shade right? That’s probably a no-go zone. You want your overall look to appear balanced so I think mixing shades work better in this case. Besides, mixing things to better suit your style is simply easier & generally more interesting. Today, I’m mixing light distressed denim shorts with a medium wash denim jacket & a pair of sneakers for a very casual look.

FYI, I was heading to the beach hence the bikini 😄
